About "Behos" by Sushant KC
"Behos" means unconscious, or fainted, and the song opens with the narrator already in that state and asking to be revived. It is a neat inversion of the usual love-song posture: rather than being overwhelmed as the song progresses, he starts out flattened and spends the rest of it trying to get his bearings.
The central conflict is a strategic one. He would tell her everything in his heart, he says, except that he is afraid the confession itself would push her further away. So he does the next best thing and asks her to go first: whatever I am thinking, tell me you are thinking it too. It is a request for a guarantee before taking a risk, and the song is unusually honest about that cowardice.
The image that best captures the bind arrives near the end: "adrishya kuraa dekhaau ma kasari" — how do I show you something invisible? Feeling is real to him and undetectable to her, and the only instrument for converting one into the other is the speech he is too frightened to attempt. The line immediately after admits the standoff cannot hold: I do not think I can hide it any longer either.
Sushant KC keeps the arrangement light and swaying, which cuts against the panic in the words. That contrast is the point — from the outside this looks like an ordinary crush, and from the inside the narrator has lost consciousness and is asking to be woken.
